Attachment style quiz for self-reflection
Explore your attachment patterns with six questions about closeness and reassurance. Get a starting point for reflection, without creating an account.
What can an attachment style quiz tell you?
You might look for reassurance when someone goes quiet, need distance when a relationship feels intense, or notice both reactions. This quiz gives you a way to reflect on those experiences. It focuses on your answers about close relationships, rather than deciding who you are or what your partner is thinking.
How the six questions work
Choose a response from 1 to 5 for each statement, thinking about situations you recognise in your own relationships. Three questions concern worry about connection and three concern discomfort with closeness. The quiz adds the answers in each group and uses those two totals to suggest a pattern: secure, anxious, avoidant, or a mix of anxiety and avoidance. You can go back and correct your answers.
Use the result as a starting point
Your result includes a brief description and a suggested first step. Six answers cannot capture your history, every relationship, or how you respond in different situations. This is a self-reflection exercise, not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or substitute for professional support. Consider which parts fit your experience and which do not; you do not need to adopt the suggested label.
No account needed to see your result
The quiz calculates your result in your browser. When you finish, it stores your answers locally if browser storage is available. They can be reused during onboarding in the same browser for up to 24 hours, so you do not have to answer again. If you sign in and complete onboarding, your baseline is saved to your account. Avoid taking the quiz on a shared browser if you do not want others using it to access your locally stored answers.
